The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts unstable weather to hit the country on Sunday.
During the day, there will be a drop in temperature, alongside a strong activity of dusty winds and sand storms in different areas in Great Cairo, lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, South Sinai, and Canal cities.
Furthermore, there are rain expectations in the Northern Coast, Lower Egypt, Great Cairo, Delta, and the north of Upper Egypt.
Meanwhile, cold weather will prevail across the country at the beginning of the night, becoming extremely cold by the end of the night.
EMA added that the peaks of the Red Sea Mountains will see snowy weather as temperatures will drop to near or below zero. Saint Catherine Mountain is expected to record the lowest temperature in Egypt, -2°C.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities on Saturday are: 17°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 15°C in Matruh, 18°C in Sohag, 18°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
