To mark the Sinai Peninsula Liberation Day, military museums and sites will be opened for visitors for free on April 25.
In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that El Alamein World War II Military Museum, Port Said Military Museum, and National War Museum in Saladin Castle will be open, besides the display of the October War Panorama for free on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.
On this special day, Egyptians celebrate the history and development of the Egyptian Armed Forces sector.
As part of official celebrations, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will be giving a speech during a ceremony commemorating the 48th anniversary of Liberty Day of Sinay, the reason behind the banks, and private institutions alongside public entities holiday today in the country.
