Today, 30-6-2020, Egypt marks the 7th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution through which Egypt freed itself from the shackles of the outlawed terrorist organization that sought to destabilize the country while pushing it to the brinks of failure.
The date June 30, 2013 was engraved into Egypt’s history as the date that the Egyptian army protected the country from the dark ambitions of the Muslim Brotherhood and supported the will of millions of Egyptians.
The uprising concluded seven months of protests that started when the Brotherhood government issued a highly controversial constitutional declaration that gave Brotherhood’s Morsi temporary sweeping powers over the state’s judicial system until the new constitution was passed.
The 30th of June revolution in 2013 was not just the savior for Egypt, but also a catalyst as Egypt began its journey to not just repair but to rise above and beyond the state that it once was.
