Egypt, Greece Conduct Naval Drills in Mediterranean

On Thursday, the Egyptian and Greek Naval units conducted an ephemeral maritime exercise in the scope of the Egyptian Northern fleet in the Mediterranean.

The Egyptian frigate, Taba, and the Greek military vessel (HS HYDRA F-452) participated in the exercise after a successful visit by the Greek unit.

Moreover, a number of professional military activities were conducted during the exercise.

This activity came as part of the Egyptian Armed Forces' plan to enhance military cooperation with friendly countries.

The mutual exercises represent a precious chance to enhance the experiences of the maritime forces of both states for supporting the efforts of Egypt and Greece for enhancing regional stability and security.
