Government Denies Reducing Food Support due to Global Economic Crisis

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers affirmed that there is no government intention to reduce food subsidies, coinciding with the global economic crisis.

The center's officials communicated with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, which denied reports on such a government intention.

It stressed

that the government never intends to reduce food support in conjunction with the global economic crisis.

the regularity of disbursing food rations to the holders of food support cards in full, and in an amount equivalent to the value allocated to them from the support.
