The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern Coast, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the south of the country.
There is also a 20% chance of light rain, sometimes thunderous, to prevail intermittently in Northwest Coast, Western Desert, South Sinai, and Red Sea mountain ranges.
There is also a 30% chance of light rain, sometimes thunderous,hitting intermittently in Northwest Coast and Western Desert.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.
There is also a 20% chance of light prevailing intermittently in Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
