Value of Egypt's Exports to East Asian Countries Grew by 62.8% in 2021

Today, Monday, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMS) issued the annual bulletin "Trade exchange between Egypt and the most important countries of East Asia" in the year 2021.

The bulletin deals with the volume of foreign trade (exports - imports) with the most important countries of East Asia, "Malaysia - the People's Republic of China - India - Taiwan - Japan - Indonesia - Pakistan - Thailand - South Korea - Singapore - Bangladesh.

Among its most important indicators, the total value of exports to East Asian countries amounted to $6.6 billion in 2021, compared to $4.1 billion in 2020, an increase of 62.8%. The total value of imports from East Asian countries amounted to $25.8 billion in 2021, compared to $20.8 billion in 2020, an increase of 24.3%. %.

India ranked first for exports, with a value of $2.1 billion in 2021, compared to $1.4 billion in 2020, an increase of 46.5%. $0.8 billion in 2020, an increase of 95.7%.
