Egypt strongly condemned, on Saturday, the Houthi attack in Saudi Arabia that killed a Saudi citizen and a Yemeni resident of the Kingdom.

“Egypt stressed full solidarity with the Kingdom in whatever measures it is taking to confront these despicable terrorist attacks,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, highlighting the close relationship between the two countries.

Moreover, the ministry sent its deep condolence to the families of the deceased, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. It also asserted that the attack is a clear violation of the rules of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), according to the statement.

On Friday, a Houthi projectile hit Samtah, a town in Jazan, damaging an industrial workshop.
