CAIRO, Dec. 20 (SEE) - Dr. Hany El Nazer, the first president of Egypt Can Foundation, said that the new foundation is a gift for the Egyptians in 2018.
The foundation is set to be established as it came as one of the outcomes of the 4th edition of Egypt Can Coneference
In statements to SEE, Nazer, who is the former president of the National Research Centre, noted that the foundation's goal is setting up a database for the Egyptian scientists, who are working abroad, employing their researches, and benefiting from them in favor of Egypt.
"The foundation is highly supported by Immigration Minister Nabila Makram," he added.
"It will also have a great interest in supporting youth innovators, as it is set to help them in getting masters and doctoral degrees from abroad then making use of their expertise for Egypt," Nazer pointed out.
On Monday, Makram inaugurated the conference with the participation of 28 Egyptian scientists and experts in Hurghada. Egypt Can conferences aim to develop a plan for the pre-university course.
They also target to benefit from the expertise of these scientists to improve the quality of education in their homeland.
