Yahya Aboul Fotouh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Ahly National Bank of Egypt, confirmed that there is a great demand from citizens to buy the certificates offered by Al-Ahly Bank and Misr Banque, with an interest rate of 25%, indicating that the proceeds of selling the new certificate in the two banks amounted to 155 billion pounds since its launch until today.
Aboul Fotouh, during a phone call to the “On My Responsibility” program presented by the journalist Ahmed Musa, aired on "Sada El Balad” satellite channel, thanked the employees of the two banks for their presence in the branches despite the Christmas and banks' holidays, with the aim of reducing congestion in front of the branches of the two banks on working days.
