The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) sent an official letter to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The EFA requested the application of arbitral justice, and expressed its fear of the negative impact of some situations on the efforts exerted by the Egyptian entity.

In its official letter, the Egyptian Association also affirmed its appreciation for the efforts made by the Confederation to promote African competitions and football in general.

The EFA also stressed on the absence of arbitration justice in the national team's match against Togo, Saturday, in the third group of African Cup of Nations qualifiers, in which the Pharaohs were victorious by the score of 1-0.

Egypt's Association also pointed in its statement that not using video technology (VAR) may be crucial at this stage of the competition.

Egypt's football governing body cited by the match tape, whose footage confirms the national team's right to receive two penalty kicks during Saturday's clash in the 56th and 90th minutes of the match.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian national team currently tops the Group G table with 5 points, equally with the Comoros Islands, while the Kenyan team come third with 3 points, and Togo come at the bottom of the table with only one point.
