Eastern Hockey won the African Club Championship for the 26th time in its history after defeating the Ghanaian Exchequers (4-2) in the final of the African Club Championship
The match was held at the Seck Union Club Stadium in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The Eastern Men's Hockey Team succeeded in reaching the final match after the team played 5 matches during the tournament, winning all of them, under the leadership of Captain Sayed Jaballah, technical director, Captain Ahmed Kamal, general coach, Captain Hisham Abdel Basit, goalkeepers coach, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Kafi, team manager, Dr. Mohamed Jamal, team doctor, Captain Ahmed Sharqieh, general coach and load planner, and Captain Bashir Abdel Hadi.
Eastern Hockey Team, is the historic title holder of the tournament and achieved the Guinness World Record
