Canadian rapper Drake shared a new update about his long-delayed “Certified Lover Boy” album.
The rapper confirmed on Instagram that his new album will be released on Friday, September 3rd.

The rapper may have revealed the release date for "Certified Lover Boy", on ESPN’s flagship program SportsCenter Friday, August 27th.
The show’s normal introduction of sports highlights was noticeably interrupted by some glitchy-looking footage and warped vocals, which ultimately settled into a shot of a cardboard sign that read: “CLB September 3”.

In October 2020, Drake announced that the project would be out in January 2021. The rapper announced later that month via Instagram stories that the album has been delayed due to a recent surgery.
He reassured fans that the album will release this year, saying: “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
The new album will mark his sixth full-length studio album and will be the follow-up to 2018’s “Scorpion”.
