Dolce & Gabbana partook Saturday in the Milan fashion show, with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, peppering their spring/summer 2022 women collection with glitter.
The D&G Light show was held in a disco-like atmosphere and featured sparkling, sequined blouses and rock-studded mini-skirts and trousers as well as black biker jackets and camouflaged overcoats, cargo pants worn with crystal-encrusted tops, fringed gold and silver dresses.
The designer duo also presented elements seen in their previous collections such as embroidery, lace, flowers, animalier prints, bras, corsets, and tight black dresses.
In a statement, they noted that the glittery show was a call to leave behind the darkness of the coronavirus pandemic.
The show was among the last big event of the Milan Fashion Week, which runs until Monday and is hosting in-person events and digital shows, following virtual editions in February due to the coronavirus pandemic.
