Egypt ranked the top second best ping destination in the world, according to DIVE magazine.
The magazine's readers voted for Egypt to occupy the second place after Indonesia.
The world’s leading scuba ping magazine mentioned that Egypt’s Red Sea has more than 400 recorded species of coral, several hundred kinds of fish, 20% of which are endemic, impressive reefs, dramatic walls, backed by well-established pe industry.
Ras Mohammed topped the best ping sites worldwide. Also, St. John’s Reef was selected as a hotspot, showing some of the most spectacular underwater wildlife vistas.

Divers could see large schools of jacks and batfish hang in the water at the peak of summer, the UK publication noted.
But the magazine urged the pers to be cautious from the oceanic whitetip shark which approaches from the isolated moorings.
The magazine wasn’t enough with that. It also spotted light on the legendary Brothers Islands, which are a pair of tiny islands situated about 5 minutes from each other. They are located 200 km south of Ras Mohammed and are steep-sided cones, likely formed by volcanic eruptions.
In this regard, Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat congratulated Egypt on this rank. She tweeted: "It comes as no surprise that Egypt ranks the 2nd top ping destination in the world with its very well-established pe industry and hundred species of corals and fish, stunning reefs and dramatic walls. Marvel at our blue beauty."

In 2018, Egypt ranked third among the top 10 scuba ping destinations in the world.
