Environment Ministry carried out a plan to bury the village waste of Al-Mu'tamida, which was placed under quarantine, by allocating a place at the dump of Shabramant in cooperation with the Giza Cleaning and Beautification Authority.

The Environment Minister Dr. Yasmeen Fouad said that the plan includes preparing quicklime to cover the waste that reaches the dump from the village, as well as a car to disinfect the equipment after leaving the village.

Due to waste, which leads to the infection spread, the minister is taking a procedure to isolate an entire village, which may turn to a possible source of the Coruna virus.

Dr. Fouad explained that in order to prevent the infection spread among workers in the waste disposal field, they will be alerted to follow preventive measures such as wearing protective equipment that does not allow penetration and commitment to washing hands with water and soap.

In addition, the workers are urged not to take off personal protection masks during work, as well as preventing digging waste at work sites, or leaving materials that can be recycled outside the workplaces
