CAIRO, Dec. 29 (SEE) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Saturday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Central Bank governor, ministers of defense, endowments, foreign affairs, oil, justice, immigration, higher education, transportation, finance, interior affairs, housing and health, communication and technology, chief of general intelligence services, head of the administrative observatory body and deputy minister of agriculture and proclamation.
The participants discussed efforts exerted
to improve the highway efficiency in Egypt, according to the presidential spokesperson
Bassam Radi's statement.
Radi noted that Sisi asked concerned officials to secure improvements of transportation networks in Egypt and boost this sector’s capabilities.
"The president called on confronting
all forms of aggressions on public lands," Radi added.
In this regard, President Sisi demanded the
concerned authorities to benefit from the properties of the religious
endowments ministry nationwide via so-called wise governance.
Radi revealed that the meeting also reviewed the existing projects in the field of developing fish farms system, as well as the development of Lake Manzala. "Moreover, the president directed the development process while supporting the successful projects with excellent production."
The meeting also reviewed the executive position of the major national projects being implemented in various development sectors at the level of the Republic, including infrastructure projects and new urban communities.
"The president stressed the need to
continue working according to the timetables set for completion of these
projects and in line with the highest international standards," the spokesperson
said.
Radi added that Sisi was updated with the government's efforts in the framework
of caring about the Egyptian expatriates' young generations, connecting them
with their homeland, Egypt, and taking advantage of their skills and expertise.
On the foreign affairs level, President Sisi discussed with the
participants various ongoing political issues at the regional and international
levels; including the outcomes of the recent visit by the foreign minister and
the general intelligence chief to Sudan.
