On Wednesday, the dentist accused of sexual harassment against men appeared in the Abasiya Misdemeanours Court for investigations after he was arrested on Tuesday.
Several reports and social media campaigns were mounted months ago against the dentist accusing him of sexual harassment against men.
The campaign was led by actor and TV presenter Abbas Aboelhassan and singer and musician Tameem Youness.
Abu Aboelhassan expressed on his Facebook account today, "After 6 months of resistance, we succeeded as the dentist was arrested."
He added that the dentist kept his sexual actions against men for more than 30 years and he made from his fortune and connections a shield to hide behind.
The actor added that many voices attempted to drop the reports he submitted to the concerned authorities.
In the same context, Abu Aboelhassan thanked the Prosecutor General, victims who filed reports against the dentist, and the police alongside his lawyer.
