Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Manhattan, New York, to protest the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip, demanding a permanent ceasefire.
The demonstrators also demanded that Israeli officials be punished for the devastating war in Gaza. The protesters denounced the continued “international silence on Israel’s genocide,” according to Russia Today.
Protests have been held in New York and various parts of the United States, in support of the Palestinians, since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
Demonstrations were held in front of the Brooklyn Museum but New York Police arrested 22 of them, accusing some of them of committing violations.
