Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with Congolese counterpart Gilbert Kabanda Kurhenga, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting Egypt. An official reception ceremony was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting focused on developments in the situation on the regional and international arenas and their repercussions on security and stability in the African continent in light of the current circumstances and challenges.
They also discussed increasing aspects of military and security cooperation between the two countries in many fields.
Zaki affirmed his pride in the military cooperation relations between the Egyptian and Congolese armed forces in various fields, stressing the importance of coordinating military efforts between the armed forces of both countries.
The Minister of National Defense of Congo praised Egypt's efforts in supporting all issues of the African continent to lay the foundations of security and stability in it and achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the continent, expressing his aspiration for more coordination in issues of common interest.
