The death toll from a suicide bombing that targeted a police car in the Bolan district of Pakistan, on Monday, has risen to 16, according to AFP.
The latest announced death toll was at least 9 dead and 11 others were wounded.
Meanwhile, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
The authorities suggested that the attack was a suicide one, but no other details about the attack have been reported so far.
Pakistan suffers from repeated terrorist attacks, the most prominent of which was the bombing of a mosque in the city of Peshawar, last January; as a result, about 100 people were killed, and more than 200 others were injured.
