The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that the death toll from the terrorist attack that targeted the military college in Syria had risen to 100 people.
Earlier, Syrian Health Minister Hassan al-Ghabbash announced that the death toll from targeting a graduation ceremony at the Military College in Homs rose to 80 dead and 240 injured, including women and children, indicating that it is an infinite toll.The Syrian Minister of Health said, "The terrorist act at the Military Academy in Homs led to the death of 80 people and 240 injuries, including women and children, a toll that is considered infinite so far."
Meantime, Ghabbash visited the wounded in hospitals in the city of Homs, and confirmed, according to what SANA, that their health condition is being monitored and treatment and all necessities are provided to ensure their optimal recovery.
He explained that immediately after the attack occurred, the ambulance responded to the attack, and safe transport of the wounded took place upon receiving a report of the incident.
RT correspondent reported that Syrian Defense Minister Ali Abbas was present at the officers’ graduation ceremony in Homs, which was targeted, however, the minister and the Governor left before the attack took place.
