Egypt’s Dar Al Ifta has announced that Tuesday, July 20 will mark the 1st day of Eid al Adha.
On this occasion, the Egyptian Dar Al Ifta congratulated on Saturday the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Arab world’s leaders, wishing the Islamic world all the blessings and peace.
Last week, Egypt’s Endowments Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa announced that the upcoming Eid al-Adha prayers will take place at major mosques where only Friday prayers are held.
In a statement, he confirmed that there is no room for Eid prayers to be held at any squares, yards, or streets under the current circumstances of COVID-19 in order to preserve the health of the whole community.
Moreover, the minister urged all worshipers to adhere to all precautionary and preventive measures, including social distancing and wearing facemasks.
