Danish Prime Minister (PM) Mita Frederiksen thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for inviting her to visit Egypt.
"I thank President El-Sisi for inviting me to visit this beautiful country," she said, adding, "We discussed solutions to climate change and green energy, and I consider Egypt a strong partner for Denmark and Europe in this issue."
Moreover, the Danish PM stressed that partnerships with Egypt are important in light of global challenges, congratulating Egypt on the successful hosting of the climate conference.
Furthermore, Frederiksen added that Immigration is a common challenge, affirming that Egypt is an important partner for the European Union (EU) in this matter.
"I am pleased with the important cooperation with Egypt in controlling borders and confronting human smuggling."
