Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, wore the famous Palestinian keffiyeh, during the proceedings of the case submitted by South Africa against Israel before the International Court of Justice.

Ramaphosa was with fellow members of the ruling African National Congress at a rally outside Johannesburg.

Party officials sang and danced after reading the International Court of Justice's ceasefire ruling

At another gathering in Cape Town, party officials expressed their happiness with the court's decision.

“We have taken the first step to end the violence against the innocent Palestinian people. We are very happy with the ruling issued today,” Justin de Linde, an official with the African National Congress in Cape Town, said in media statements.
