The Israeli Channel 12 reported today, Friday, that a cyber attack had occurred on the website of the Israeli State Archive, and some information had been deleted from it from the year 2020 onwards.
The Israeli channel explained on its official account on “X” that a message was sent to many researchers, subscribers, or users stating that the database for general questions and inquiries had been hacked, and much information had been erased from the site.
The channel claimed that no damage occurred and no secret materials were leaked, noting that the technical company that supervises the website of the Israeli State Archive was subjected to a cyber-attack.
