On Tuesday, 11 August, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, voted in the Senate elections in “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Experimental” School in Sheikh Zayed.
Abdel Dayem said that the new council comes as a continuation of the legislative life in Egypt and it is a confirmation of the success of the Egyptian state after 30 June. It played a great role in building its institutions and in completing the democratic movement towards a better future for its citizens.
The minister added that the second legislative room, represented in the Senate council, is one of the pillars of the democratic process in Egypt, accompanying the era of development that the nation is going through.
She called all the citizens to participate positively in this elections shouldering the responsibility to choose the best representatives for this council.
