The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo now tops the list of the best scorers in the history of football, equally with Czech Josef Bican with 759 goals each.

The Italian Juventus striker, 35, scored the third goal in his team's victory against Sassuolo by the score of 3-1, in the game that brought them together, Sunday, in the 17th round of the Italian League.

Cris raised his tally to 759 goals in official matches, equaling the record of Austrian-Czech player Josef Bican, to share with him the title of best goalscorer in the history of football.

Ronaldo scored 759 goals during the 1034 matches he played so far in his professional career, including 657 goals for the clubs he played for, which are Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, in addition to 102 goals with the Portuguese national team.

Cristiano surpassed the legendary Brazilian Pelé, who scored 757 goals during his whole football career.
