COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign Website to Be Launched Mid Feb.

On Friday, Dr. Khaled Megahed, Ministry of Health spokesman, announced that the official website of registration of COVID-19 vaccination campaign will be launched in mid February.

He asserted that all imported COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and protective. Also, they restricted the chances of infection.

Regarding the vaccination campaign of the medical staff in isolation hospitals, Megahed revealed that the vaccination rollout is stable and well-organized.

Also, the process is going well at chest disease hospitals and fever hospitals.

Recently, Egypt started vaccinating the medical staff in isolation hospitals, chest disease hospitals, and fever hospitals weeks ago against COVID-19 using the Chinese Sinopharm.

Last week, the Egyptian Drug Authority approved the Indian-manufactured AstraZeneca vaccine for urgent use.
