Magdy Abdel Ghani, member of the former Egyptian Football Association Board of Directors, was sentenced by Dokki Misdemeanor Court Tuesday to 6 years in prison and fined EGP 300 thousand in 3 cases for refraining from handing over the inheritance of his relatives.
A bail of EGP 5 thousand for each of the three cases was imposed to stop implementation of the sentence.
In each case of the three, Abdel Ghani received a 2-year sentence and an EGP 100 thousand fine.
Abdel Ghani was accused by his relatives of refraining from handing over their inheritance share at a gas station in Al Waraq.
The former member of the Egyptian Football Association affirmed many times that he has the documents that will prove his non-conviction in this case.
He said that his grandfather passed away in 1964 and left a great inheritance, and that his uncles are trying to seize his share of the inheritance.
