The green transformation has become a significant goal of the Egyptian government today. It includes addressing climate change, enhancing the resilience of ecosystems, increasing reliance on renewable energy, and adopting sustainable consumption and production patterns.

To drive green transformation across the country, the government has recently made green technologies one of its main core investment areas.

This sustainable approach was adopted in Article 46 of the 2014's Egyptian Constitution, which represents a key contribution to the green transformation process in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In short, Article 46 affirms Egypt's commitment to environmental issues and considers it a fundamental right of citizens to live in a healthy environment.

Additionally, the Egyptian government has rolled out its development agenda, fondly known as the 2030 National Vision, which aims to preserve both development and the environment together through the rational use of resources in a way that preserves the rights of future generations in a more secure and adequate way.

Through the National Vision 2030 programs, the country has established a close relationship between localizing and employing green technology and benefiting from it for sustainable inclusive growth and linking it to social aspects by investing in human capital and building scientific and practical capabilities in accordance with sustainable development policies.
