Minister of Environment: COP27 Green Zone Succeeded in its Mission

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Ministerial Coordinator and Envoy of the COP27 Climate Conference, confirmed the success of the Egyptian presidency in integrating all sectors as partners for environmental action in the Green.

She said that the Green Zone represents the area that reflects national efforts in confronting the effects of climate change and protecting the environment through government pavilions, civil society, business community pavilions, youth, indigenous peoples and artists. The Green Zone expressed the dreams of the peoples of the world with green ideas and projects for implementation

The Minister of Environment added that the Green Zone promotes dialogue, awareness, education and commitments through events, exhibitions, workshops, cultural performances and conversations, pointing to the Green Zone and Egypt's pavilions as a success story that dazzled everyone with the technical and logistical organization to achieve environmental sustainability
