Seven Palestinians were killed and others were injured in confrontations that broke out between Palestinian citizens and Israeli soldiers in a number of cities in the West Bank.
The Israeli army stormed a number of West Bank cities at dawn on Thursday as part of a campaign of arrests and house demolitions.
Palestinian sources reported that sounds of explosions and clashes were heard in the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, after a special army force was discovered in the camp.
Clashes are also taking place between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in the city of Tubas.
Four Palestinians were injured by live ammunition including a child, who was in serious condition.
The Israeli forces arrested of other fighters from the Dheisheh camp, south of Bethlehem.
A young man was also shot dead, on Wednesday evening, in a settler attack on the village of Dura al-Qara’, north of Ramallah.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported, "The child Taha Mahameed (16 years old) from Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, was murdered after the occupation forces left him lying on the ground bleeding for about an hour, and prevented ambulances from transporting him to the hospital."
