Ingredients
1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)
3 large onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp butter
3 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Gruyère or Emmental cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp black pepper
How to Make It
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a pie dish with the crust and set aside.
2️⃣ In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the onions until soft and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Let cool slightly.
