Massive confrontations erupted on Sunday between Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces in different areas of West bank, especially in the southern Hebron area, after a shooting attack carried out by a Palestinian man yesterday, which resulted in the killing of a settler and the death of the Palestinian man.
Palestinian security sources in Hebron governorate said that a number of civilians were wounded by rubber bullets and suffocated, during confrontations with the occupation forces in Hebron, the town of "Beit Ummar", and "Al-Aroub camp".
Media activist Muhammad Awad said that the occupation forces stationed in the military tower at the entrance to "Beit Ummar" fired sound and gas bombs at the participants in a peaceful march condemning the crimes of the occupation forces and the settlers' attack.
The occupation forces closed the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, and prevented citizens and their cars from entering and leaving the town.
Clashes also erupted at the entrance to the “Al-Aroub” camp. The occupation forces stationed in the military tower fired rubber bullets and poison gas canisters at the citizens and their homes.
