The President of the Suez Canal University further said that Egypt has great national projects, as well as a strong army and police, and it is committed and welcoming to all sects.
He assured the care of the international student does not stem from the increase in the number of students, but from the role of an Egyptian leading to do at the Arab and African level.
He added that the university offers scholarships in every college, as the university contains 17 colleges. There are also deductions for excellent students and the university offers a wide range of services for foreign students including housing, and help in paperwork.
He clarified that the university launched the Expatriates Club, which provides them with various services at all levels. The university has 209 expatriate students at the undergraduate level and 50 expatriates in graduate studies.
On the choice of the castle to celebrate, the President of the University pointed out that this place is ideal for their celebration, hoping that the next concerts in Egypt throughout Luxor, Aswan, Suez and Alexandria, so that students can learn about the Egyptian heritage and enjoy the real Egypt.
60 thousand expatriates studying in Egyptian Universities
Dr. Kamelia Sobhy, Acting Head of Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector, talked about the ceremony, saying that the arrival of the expatriate administration in the ministry was the result of a great effort under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Dr. Sobhy also assured that Egypt will be the hub of education; he also thanked the sponsorship of the Minister of Education. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, who in turn did all he could to manage the expatriates under the leadership of Dr. Rasha Kamal, Acting Head of the Central Department for International Students Affairs at the Ministry.
Regarding the number of international students in Egypt, Dr. Sobhy confirmed that in the entire foreign students in the Egyptian universities about 60 thousand students, while the new arrivals students range from 10,000 to 12 thousand students at a minimum.
Dr. Sobhy said: "I think the radical reforms currently under way through the centralized management of expatriates, and full coordination with the entire state sectors will achieve more achievements in this file."
Expatriates in the Ceremony:
Abdul Razzaq Hassan and Mushtaqah Taher Hassan, arriving from the State of Somalia and are part of the Cairo University delegation, said that they are happy to be in Egypt and that the experience of studying over the four years was fun, thanking Egypt for providing this opportunity to them.
Dridri Ahmed, Secretary General of the Sudanese Students' Union in Egypt, who is studying at the third level at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, Department of Sociology, said that he felt welcomed in Egypt and his choice to study there was fruitful, based on a good educational level, both in theory and in training.
He stressed that dealing with university professors has another payback- they help him to achieve good academic achievement, as for life and living. He said: "We live here as we live our homeland, there is no difference between our country and Egypt; Egypt is a partner country and our second home, so we do not find difficulties in Egypt."
As for student Ahmed Fadl El-Sayed from Sudan, he is studying at the second level at the Faculty of Human Medicine at Al-Aini Palace in Cairo University. Student Mayada El Tayeb, also at Cairo University, said that they are happy to study in Egypt.
