Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister, said in his speech at the Security Council session that a comprehensive ceasefire must be implemented in Gaza. He added:"We provided Gaza with supplies and another package of humanitarian aid will be provided to Gaza.
He noted that Israel established a state while they did not have a homeland, and now they have a homeland, and the Palestinians must have a homeland so the only solution is the two-state one, which will restore peace to the region.
Wang Yi added: "We must work to take responsible measures from the Security Council as civilians in Gaza must be protected with stronger measures. Any violence against Palestinian civilians is absolutely unacceptable.
He stressed:"We reject the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and we will continue to strengthen coordination."
He continued: "Resuming fighting again in the Gaza Strip will lead to a catastrophe. Two states must be established to live in peace side by side."
