China announced that the number of people given COVID-19 vaccine doses until now in the state crossed 1 billion doses, media agencies reported on Sunday.
However, the country sees a kind of emergency measures nowadays after detecting various infections with Delta variant (Indian strain), in addition to recording new domestic COVID-19 infections.
The state reported six infections with Delta variant in Guangdong province among them a worker in Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport.
In the same context, the medical authorities quarantined 110 persons who were in direct contact with the lady, in addition to canceling 460 flights. Moreover, all stores and restaurants were shut down.
Furthermore, the authorities required a negative PCR test for any person who wants to enter the airport.
