The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation announced that the country has successfully developed the first compound liquid hydrogen system for vehicles, with a capacity of 100 kilograms.

This achievement marks a significant advancement in the transportation sector in the country.

The corporation, that developed the mentioned system, stated that it is locally produced as one of the essential components for heavy-duty trucks powered by liquid hydrogen.

The new system will enable these trucks to achieve an improved range of over 1000 kilometers on a single charge.

Compared to the previous system, the new system features a 20% increase in actual storage volume within the same overall dimensions, while reducing costs by over 30%.

An expert at the mentioned company stated that the new system, with a carrying capacity of up to 100 kilograms of hydrogen, complies with international standards in terms of system quality, hydrogen storage density, and refueling time.
