China's special envoy on the climate change summit, Xie Jinhua, called on developed countries to provide more support to developing countries that have the greatest losses and are most at risk of environmental damage from climate change.

And the Chinese newspaper, "South China Morning Post", quoted Jinhua as saying - at an event in the China pavilion at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27), which is currently being hosted in Sharm el-Sheikh - "I hope that this time the conference will meet the demands of developing countries as much as possible." possible, in the areas of emissions reduction, financing, adaptation and capacity-building, and that there is progress in addressing its losses to the damage caused by climate change.”

Xie said China has "actively implemented" its commitments from the Paris Agreement, aiming to reach peak carbon emissions by the end of this decade and carbon neutrality by 2060.
