US President Donald Trump has described Chicago city as the most dangerous spot on earth.

He claimed that  the city is more dangerous than Afghanistan.

It is worth to mention that Chicago is the third populated city in the United States of America (USA).

But the city is crime-torn as it comes first in crime rates compared to  the other cities in the country.

However, mayor of the city blasted the president fiercely for his remarks. She said that the ignorant president  disdains the city.

The mayor added, during meeting of the International Federation of Police Chiefs in the world, that those statements of Trump insults the USA as a sovereign country.

She warns that people all over the world talk  negatively about Chicago and compare it with Afghanistan as a safer place than Chicago.

Trump grilled Chicago Chief Police as he refused to take part in the meeting.

Chicago has a majority supports the Democratic party.

Trump has not visited the city since he won the presidential election in 2017.

Trump  also accused chief of Chicago police of negligence because he did not appear in meeting  the of police chiefs despite US President came to that gathering.

He claimed that the chief police did not perform his job well.

561 murders took place in Chicago in 2018 compared to 653 crimes of that kind in 2017.

On the other hand, Chicago Tribune, a local newspaper,  revealed that 436 murders have occurred in the city since inception of the standing year.

The Democratic mayor Lori Lightfoot tweeted that Trump behaves as a clown when he came to the meeting of police chiefs. She went on to say that we fortunately all inhabitants of the city know the truth.

They will not allow any person, whatever the post he occupies, to insult the generous city, which welcomes its new comers.

Thousand in Chicago took to the streets to protest against Trump who came to the city to raise funds for the presidential campaign of 2020.
