More children in Egypt, and elsewhere around the world are missing school due to coronavirus (COVID-19), which has taken millions of lives around the world.
Millions of children and youth are not attending school because of closures mandated by governments in an attempt to slow the spread of the deadly virus, according to UNESCO.
Meanwhile, schools and universities are taking precautionary measures, including the use of masks, face shields and social distancing to help tackle the virus, in addition to classes and exams currently being held virtually from home.
