Canada National Football team made history, Sunday, after qualifying for the 2024 Copa America tournament for the first time in their history.
The Northern America team qualified for the tournament after defeating Trinidad and Tobago 2-0.
They will begin their Copa America campaign by facing the title holders Argentina on June 20.
After that, they will face Peru, and Chile as part of the group stage competitions for Group A.
USA is hosting this year's Copa America as part of their preparations for hosting the massive 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This year's Copa America will see the participation of 16 teams: 10 teams from Latin America, and 6 from Northern America.
