The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Upper Egypt country experiences extremely hot weather.
Strong mist would prevail on all highways leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal cities, Sinai, and the North of Upper Egypt.
Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, the North Coast, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the South of the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with southwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and south of the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
