The 1st Cyprus-Egypt Intergovernmental summit will be hosted in Cairo on September 4, under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Anastasiades.
In Cairo, Anastasiades will be accompanied by Foreign Minister (FM) Nikos Christodoulides, Energy, Commerce and Industry Minister Natasa Pilidas, Agriculture and Environment Minister Kostas Cadis, Defense Minister Charalambos Petrides, Deputy Shipping Minister Vasilis Demetriades, and government spokesman Marius Pelicanos.
During the summit, the two sides are set to discuss a wide range of issues related to bilateral ties in key areas including energy, defense, diplomacy, and commercial shipping.
