The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) shared a video on its official Facebook page on Sunday, announcing the new Egyptian Legal Legislation Portal.

The portal is considered the largest legal database for legislation and rulings in the Middle East that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI).

IDSC's statement revealed that the Portal included Egyptian legislation that go back to 1828, over 280,000 legislation, and beyond 70,000 variant rulings.

They involve the rulings of the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, the legal opinions of the Council of State and economic courts, the "fatwas" of Dar Al-Ifta, the resolutions of the Prime Minister, and the decisions of ministers and governors.

The new portal relies on cutting-edge AI technology, which enables the user to search for legislation and rulings using different methods. In addition, it provides smart processing of the searches that depends on filtering and rearranging the results. Thus, the user is offered a unique experience of easy access to the required data in a quick and precise manner.

Moreover, the Portal provides an integrated image of the relation among the legislation and the relation between the legislation and the relevant rulings, which will be viewed in a sequenced timeline and graphics. Notably, the user will be able to access the required details. The said relations' impact in the legislation will be outlined, whether in terms of amendments or annulment.
