A British zoo witnessed a weird phenomenon as it separated five foul-mouthed parrots after they incited each other to insult visitors, AP reported on Wednesday.

Parrots “Billy, Eric, Tyson, Jade and Elsie” have joined Lincolnshire Wildlife Centre’s colony last August.

The parrots were also encouraging each other to swear inside Lincolnshire Wildlife Centre’s colony of 200 gray parrots.

The zoo’s chief executive, Steve Nichols, said: “We are quite used to parrots swearing, but we’ve never had five at the same time,” adding: “Most parrots clam up outside, but for some reason these five relish it.”

Nichols said no visitors had complained about the parrots, and most found the situation funny, “It’s brought a big smile to a really hard year.”

Nichols noted that the parrots were moved to different areas of the park to save children’s ears.
