Two people were killed, and 5 others injured as a result of the stabbing attack which took place in Quebec City of Canada on Halloween night, just a day after an attack in the French city of Lyon.
The man was said to be dressed in a medieval costume.
Police have arrested the suspect and an investigation is underway.
Quebec City police spokesperson Etienne Doyon told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that the suspect was a man in his mid-20s. Doyon confirmed two people died and five others were hurt.
Police are asking those in the area to remain indoors. There’s no word on a possible motive for the attacks.
