Four people were injured in a knife attack in the French capital, Paris, on Friday, according to local media reports.
The attack took place near the former offices of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper, a source close to the investigation tells AFP.
"Two attackers are on the run," a police source told Reuters. The police source added that two of the victims have "life threatening injuries".
A police official said officers are "actively hunting" for the perpetrators and have cordoned off the area including the offices after a suspect package was noticed nearby.
