Breaking: Algeria Cuts Diplomatic Ties with Morocco

Moments ago, Algeria announced cutting all diplomatic ties with its neighboring country Morocco.

Moreover, Algeria decided to withdraw its ambassadors from Rabat according to Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra.

This decision came a few days after Algeria revealed that it would re-evaluate its diplomatic relations with Morroco after Algeria accused Rabat of committing violations according to a statement released by the Algerian Presidency.

Two days ago, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune accused Morroco of supporting terroristic acts that contributed to Algerian wildfires.

In the same context, this year saw various diplomatic tensions between both countries regarding several issues such as Morroc's intention to prevent Algeria from exporting gas to Spain, and Morroco's late UN note regarding the Algerian tribes and lands.
